This year we have some special services planned for Holy Week and Easter. We will follow the historic series of three services called “The Paschal Triduum”. They are form a continuous worship experience. On Thursday, March 29 (traditionally known as Maundy Thursday) we observe the servanthood Christ taught His disciples by a demonstration of foot washing, followed by Holy Communion in remembrance of The Last Supper and then the stripping of the altar. On Good Friday, March 30, we continue the Triduum with The Passion Account according to John, and the gradual darkening of the sanctuary as the Light of the World, Christ, becomes the ultimate sacrifice, succumbing to death for our sins. However, on Easter. April 1, we experience the joy of His resurrection. The sermons are based on the hymn, ”O Sacred Head Now Wounded” as we examine the various wounds the Suffering Servant experienced in His Passion.
Join us at 7:00 PM Thursday and Friday, 9:00 AM Sunday for Easter Breakfast and the Resurrection Celebration at 10:15 AM.
